Revit Extensions for Autodesk Revit 2013 extend the capabilities of Autodesk Revit 2013, Autodesk Revit Architecture 2013, Autodesk Revit MEP 2013, and Autodesk Revit Structure 2013 software in key areas, including structural analysis, modeling, reinforcement, interoperability and construction documentation.

This download contains all previously released Revit Extensions and updates. In addition, this download includes enhancements to the positioning extension and improvements to the reinforcement extensions (dynamic model update, beam reinforcement).
- Reinforcement of Beams
An enhanced feature has been implemented to help detect supports for beams. The support analysis is performed on the bottom plane of a beam which is appropriate for slanted and vertical columns. Additionally, walls are considered as potential supports.

Workshop on "Bridge Design to Eurocodes" with worked examples
4-6 October 2010, Vienna

Y. Bouassida, E. Bouchon, P. Crespo, P. Croce, L. Davaine, S. Denton, M. Feldmann, R. Frank,
G. Hanswille, W. Hensen, B. Kolias, N. Malakatas, G. Mancini, M. Ortega, G. Sedlacek, G. Tsionis

This JRC reports presents in detail the design of a bridge structure following the Eurocodes. It summarizes important points of the Eurocodes for the design of concrete, steel and composite road bridges, including foundations and seismic design, utilizing a common bridge structure as a basis. The bridge design worked example was presented at the workshop "Bridge Design to the Eurocodes", held on 4-6 October 2010 in Vienna, Austria. The workshop was organized by JRC with the support of DG ENTR and in collaboration with CEN/TC250/Horizontal Group Bridges, the Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology and the Austrian Standards Institute.

  Modeling in Geomechanics

Modeling in Geomechanics

Author: Musharraf Zaman, Giancarlo Gioda, John Booker | Size: ? MB | Format: PDF | Quality: Unspecified | Publisher: Wiley | Year: May 2000 | pages: 730 pages | ISBN: 9780471492184

[Image: info.png]

Modeling in Geomechanics Edited by Musharraf Zaman The University of Oklahoma, USA Giancarlo Gioda Politecnico di Milano, Italy John Booker University of Sydney, Australia Geomechanics is an interdisciplinary field involving the study of natural and man-made systems with emphasis on the mechanics of various interacting phenomena. It comprises numerous aspects of engineering and scientific disciplines, which share common bases in mathematics, mechanics and physics. In recent years, with the extraordinary growth of computing power and resources, progress in the generation of new theories and techniques for the analysis of geomechanics problems has far surpassed their actual use by practitioners. This has led to a gap between our ability to deal with complex, inter-disciplinary problems in geomechanics and the actual impact of these advances on engineering practice. This book contains contributions from an international group of accomplished researchers and practitioners from various branches of soil and rock engineering, and presents the latest theoretical developments and practical applications of modeling in geomechanics. Chapters are grouped into four main sections:
* Computational procedures
* Constitutive modeling and testing
* Modeling and simulation
* Applications
Efforts have been made to include recent developments and provide suggestions and examples as to how these can be applied in modeling actual engineering problems. Researchers, practitioners and students in geomechanics, mechanics of solids, soil and rock engineering will find this book an invaluable reference.
