FX Equation is simply the fastest way to produce mathematical and scientific equations. It provides an equation creation environment that really is "Astoundingly Quick". FX Equation 4 adds automatic vertical alignment of equals signs and a high speed toolbar entry system that can speed up entry of more complicated equations. FX Equation also adds short division signs, "fill in the blank" boxes, combinations, permutations, arcs, highlighted lines and an on-screen keyboard for use with interactive whiteboards.

To use FX Equation, you just type the equation. FX Equation looks at what you have typed and puts everything in the right place. You never have to touch the mouse.

analysis of 3 storey school bldg. using ETABS, MIDAS & STAAD (the project can be found in the book of SK Gosh & Fanella(Seismic & Wind Design of Concrete Bldg.)

Dear all,

This is about the analysis of 3 storey school bldg. which can be found in the book of SK Gosh and Fanella. The title of the book is Seismic and Wind Design of Concrete Bldg. I used ETABS, MIDAS & STAAD in my analysis in order to compare the results and for you guys to comment. As far as analysis and design of the project in ETABS is concerned, I was able to import the same to SAFE and Autocad Structural Detailing 2010 and was able generate drawings.

  Endnote X4 Build 4845

Endnote X4 build 4845

Size: 66.2 MB

Introducing EndNote X4
Take a deep breath and relax while EndNote X4 is hard at work connecting you to high quality resources, simplifying your collaboration with colleagues and removing the reference stress from all your research projects.

Import and Search PDFs in EndNote
EndNote X4 continues to expand PDF management by importing a file or folder of PDFs directly to your library. The basic bibliographic data is extracted for most PDFs and you can even search the contents of a PDF. Mac users have the added advantage of being able to drag a PDF file onto the EndNote icon on the Dock to add a new reference to their library. Now that’s simple.

Collaborate more with EndNote Web
Collaboration is also a cinch. You can transfer up to 10,000 references between the desktop and Web making it the easiest way to work with others on research projects. Your shared EndNote Web groups eliminate the need to move library files from computer to computer. And, you can present your personal references in ResearcherID where citation metrics are provided by the Web of KnowledgeSM.
New Cite While You Write Features
You’ll save more time using the new auto-hyperlink between in-text citations and the bibliography in EndNote X4 and Microsoft Word. And now, EndNote X4 meets the complete APA 6th style requirements as well as offering customizable short forms for footnote styles. You can access frequently used functions in one place with the combined Edit and Manage Citations command on the Word toolbar. What’s more, you will find an automatic citation report of references used in a Word document in your EndNote library.

Other new features:
Create new groups by comparing, combining and suppressing existing groups.
Modify references easily in the new Quick Edit tab on the main library window.
Edit references when comparing duplicates.
Expand your library retrieval results by adding wildcards within search terms.

Excellent software to write citations once you have a library file of your own.

Railroad-Highway Grade Crossing Handbook

Author: Brent D. Ogden, | Size: 14.69 MB | Format: PDF | Publisher: FHA | Year: 2007 | pages: 327

The purpose of the Railroad-Highway Grade Crossing Handbook – Revised Second Edition is to provide a single reference document on prevalent and best practices as well as adopted standards relative to highway-rail grade crossings. The handbook provides general information on highway-rail crossings; characteristics of the crossing environment and users; and the physical and operational improvements that can be made at highway-rail grade crossings to enhance the safety and operation of both highway and rail traffic over crossing intersections. The guidelines and alternative improvements presented in this handbook are primarily those that have proved effective and are accepted nationwide. This handbook supersedes the Railroad-Highway Grade Crossing Handbook, published in September 1986. This update includes a compendium of materials that were included in the previous version of the handbook, supplemented with new information and regulations that were available at the time of the update. Updates were drawn from the current versions of relevant legislation, policy memoranda, Federal Register notices, and regulatory actions.

The purpose of this Maintenance Manual is to provide Maintenance personnel with guidance on how to conduct a wide variety of activities performed within the Maintenance Programs. The focus is on types of equipment, materials, techniques, and other information needed to properly carry out basic maintenance activities such as patching a pothole or removing snow from a roadway. Al though this guidance does not establish absolute standards, it helps to promote uniform operating procedures and per for mance guidelines. Highway mainte nance is carried out in a dynamic environment where varying factors can lead to different solutions to maintenance problems. Maintenance and Operations personnel need flexibility to match the appropriate solutions to different conditions. The Maintenance Manual is one of many resources that are available for trained maintenance personnel to utilize in applying their profession al judgment to their daily work.
