Hello all!

We should have one seperate sub-section within SOFTWARE section for PORTABLE SOFTWARE. Nowadays there are large no of options (softwares) for a particular task (say PT,Bridge,Raft,Building design). Some softwares are used occassionaly. We can not install all these software at the cost of disk space and memory. PORTABLE SOFTWARES are best solution in such condition. aso we can use it by USB drive.

If we have seperate section, we don't have to browse old threads when we need any portable versions.

Thanx.

Hi Aslam,

What I have seen in Portable softwares is, it will not work many times, I have tried all the softwares uploaded in this form in portable versions, I have tried to install in XP as well as in VIsta. May be I am wrong in using the softwares but this is my feeling... I don't know how many successful users of these portable softwares are there in this form. Let us ask other's..

Regards,
Amaranu

I agree with amaranu,

Portable software works well only if it´s a small one and in the same operational system that they are compiled.
Huge, strong and high memory and processor consumption it´s incompatible with USB/architecture velocity.
And, for applications that´s works well, I think that they could be post in the same thread as normal one!

Regards

Dell

Dear jecaballes,

Go to Google search engine and use "portable windows xp" as keyword.
Will return thousands of links with what you want.
