MojoPac

info:
I was looking for this software since long time, finally got it. Thought of sharing with all.

This is a software which can be installed on a external hard drive, USB drive. This application provides a virtual registry on the drives.
The advantage of this software is, we can install any programme on the external drives and carry it to any other machine and without any installations required we can run the programmes on that machine. This might be very helpful in situations where there is a single user liscense, which can be installed on the external drive and can be used any where you want, not restricted to a single machine.

And also when you dont want to install cracked versions on your office PC's.

I hope this software will be helpful.

Regards.

CONCRETE SLABS DESIGNED WITH FINITE ELEMENT METHODS

Master's thesis
Author: Ola Enochsson and Peter Dufvenberg
Pages: 159
PDF 2.0 MB

Abstract:

Powerful numerical calculation methods like the finite element method are not recommended in design handbooks for design of slabs, In contrary, its distribution of reinforcement is considered to be unsuitable for practical use, see e.g. Hillerborg. Most FE-programs are also more adapted for analyses than for design.
the thesis main objectives were to:

1.- Propose a method to deal with the in FE-analyses common problem of extreme value of moments in centre of interior columns/walls in flat slab floors

2.- Verify FEM-design's crack analysis and calculated effects of action and required reinforcement.

548 pages

Retaining the features that made previous editions perennial favorites, Fundamental Mechanics of Fluids, Third Edition illustrates basic equations and strategies used to analyze fluid dynamics, mechanisms, and behavior, and offers solutions to fluid flow dilemmas encountered in common engineering applications. The new edition contains completely reworked line drawings, revised problems, and extended end-of-chapter questions for clarification and expansion of key concepts. Includes appendices summarizing vectors, tensors, complex variables, and governing equations in common coordinate systems Comprehensive in scope and breadth, the Third Edition of Fundamental Mechanics of Fluids discusses: 路 Continuity, mass, momentum, and energy 路 One-, two-, and three-dimensional flows 路 Low Reynolds number solutions 路 Buoyancy-driven flows 路 Boundary layer theory 路 Flow measurement 路 Surface waves 路 Shock waves

* Includes 450 universal design scenarios, each of which describes the sizing of a different functional part of a building
* Provides more than 900 fully interactive formulas, tables, and calculations, enabling users to size each component perfectly and effortlessly
* Features extensive indexing that allows for instant access to specific data
* Both Mac- and PC-compatible

Booknews
A sizeable compendium of structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and acoustical design data. With 450 universal design scenarios, walks readers through the steps of designing, selecting, and sizing almost any functional component of a building. Introduces two fundamentally new approaches toward the sizing of functional components: parameter design, which involves determining the optimal dimensions of a component's outermost characteristics regardless of its inner details; and the gauging equation, an algebra to determine a component's size by some practical or experimental criteria when a scientifically articulated method either does not exist or is needlessly complex. The CD-ROM, for IBM compatibles, includes over 900 formulas and nearly 100 design tools, has a quick search component, and can be incorporated into CAD.
