ISO 19900:2002 specifies general principles for the design and assessment of structures subjected to known or foreseeable types of actions. These general principles are applicable worldwide to all types of offshore structures including bottom-founded structures as well as floating structures and to all types of materials used including steel, concrete and aluminium.
ISO 19900:2002 specifies design principles that are applicable to the successive stages in construction (namely fabrication, transportation and installation), to the use of the structure during its intended life and to its decommissioning. Generally, the principles are also applicable to the assessment or modification of existing structures. Aspects related to quality control are also addressed.
ISO 19900:2002 is applicable to the design of complete structures including substructures, topsides structures, vessel hulls, foundations and mooring systems.

Deep Foundations and Geotechnical in Situ Testing : Proceedings of Sessions of GeoShanghai 2010, June 3-5, 2010, Shanghai, China, Numéro 2015
Author: Feng Zhang, Ke Yang, Robert Y. Liang | Size: ? MB | Format:PDF | Quality:Unspecified | Publisher: American Society of Civil Engineers | Year: 2010 | pages: 406 | ISBN: 9780784411063
Geoenvironmental Engineering and Geotechnics: Progress in Modeling and Applications (GSP 204), presents 39 papers that represent the latest developments in the application of soil, rock, and groundwater mechanics in geotechnical engineering modeling and practice including: the relationship between geotechnical engineering and sustainability; new evidence and research into the strength and deformational behavior of soil; and recent advances in characterization and modeling of groundwater flow in geological formations of diverse geotechnical properties. This Geotechnical Special Publication examines these and other important areas of geotechnical engineering using three main categories: Geoenvironmental Engineering, Geotechnics and Seepage and Porous Mechanics. These papers were presented at the GeoShanghai 2010 Conference, sponsored by the Geo-Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers, held in Shanghai, China, June 3 5, 2010.

Bulletin 70, Rockfill Dams with Concrete Facing, was published in 1989. Jorge
E. Hacelas and Alberto Marulanda on behalf of the Colombian Committee on Large Dams authored the Bulletin for the ICOLD Committee on Materials for Fill Dams. In addition to Bulletin 70, the following were the main sources for this update:
- Proceedings, Concrete Face Rockfill Dams, Design, Construction, and Performance, ASCE, Detroit, October 1985.
- Proceedings, International Symposium on High Earth-Rockfill Dams-Especially CFRD, Beijing, October 1993.
- Proceedings, Second Symposium on Concrete Face Rockfill Dams, Brazilian Committee on Dams, Florianopolis, Brazil, October 1999.
- CFRD 2000, Proceedings, International Symposium on Concrete Faced Rockfill Dams, Beijing, September 2000.
- J. Barry Cooke Volume, Concrete Face Rockfill Dams, Beijing, September 2000.
Following the 1985 symposium in Detroit, USA, and during the decade of the 1990s, the concrete face rockfill dam has become common. A cursory review of the listing of CFRDs in the appendix indicates the widespread use and popularity of this type of dam.
The updated Bulletin contains eleven chapters devoted to design concepts, analysis, foundation treatment, instrumentation, construction, and performance.
The work of the following authors is acknowledged :
Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 10 David E. Kleiner
Chapters 5 and 6 Jason E. Hedien
Chapters 7 and 9 Archie V. Sundaram and David E. Kleiner
Chapter 11 Carlos Jaramillo
Appendix J. Barry Cooke, Bayardo Materon
The Chairman, Alberto Marulanda, provided detailed review and many contributions to all chapters that added significantly to the bulletin. Special thanks to Jean-Pierre Tournier and Normand Beauséjour, from the Canadian Committee, for their technical clarifications and precisions made during the French translation of the bulletin.
