I remember that last time I saw a good thread containing most of the updated BS codes under "Codes, Manual & Handbook" section. When I tried to look back for it by search method and browsing through the section, I could not find it. Therefore, I would like to seek kind assistance from members to provide me the link if happen that you come to know it or any other good link also would be appreciated. I need the BS codes to make cross reference with specifications for my better understanding.

SPE and QP 3 certification programs transition to jointly developed standard, AISC 420-10/SSPC-QP 3.
SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) are pleased to announce a joint certification standard for shop application of protective coatings.
The standard, “Certification Standard for Shop Application of Complex Protective Coating Systems,” was the culmination of several years of work by a joint committee of coatings and steel industry professionals representing both organizations. The standard describes requirements for certification of firms that shop apply complex painting systems.
According to Michael Damiano, Director of Product Development at SSPC, “The strength of this standard is that it enables paint shops and steel fabricators to meet the qualification criteria of two major organizations at one time, while giving owners and specifiers a single governing document to reference.”
Jacques Cattan, VP of Certification for AISC added, “The jointly sponsored certification will confirm to owners, the design community, and the construction industry that a firm has knowledgeable personnel and the organization, experience, procedures, and equipment to provide surface preparation and application of complex painting systems in a shop facility according to contract specifications.”
The joint standard is available now for free download on AISC’s website at aisc.org/JointPaintStandard and SSPC’s website at sspc.org/market-place, for inclusion into project specifications and contract documents. Starting on June 1, 2011, participants will only be responsible for the criteria of the current standards but will be informed of changes or possible non-conformances that will take effect with the new joint standard during their next annually scheduled audit. Full implementation of the new joint standard will be complete in 2012.

(Chicago, IL) - The new AISC standard for steel bridge fabricator certification is available for free downloading on the AISC web site at aisc.org/specifications (under Certification Standards at the bottom of the web page). Formally titled AISC Certification Program for Steel Bridge Fabricators—Standard for Steel Bridges—2011 (AISC 205-11), the standard outlines three categories of fabricator certification based on three types of bridges: simple, intermediate, and advanced. The standard also includes requirements for a fracture-critical member certification endorsement.
The new standard is the culmination of several years of work by the AISC Certification Committee and its ad hoc bridge standard task group. It is modeled after the format of the AISC certification standard for structural steel building fabricators and the certification standard for bridge component manufacturers.
“This standard promotes a system-based approach to achieving quality in bridge fabrication,” noted Charles J. Carter, S.E., P.E., Ph.D., AISC vice president and chief structural engineer. “Owners, general contractors and engineers who work with AISC-certified steel fabricators will benefit because this approach is more economical than the costs that often result from fixing what is found after trying to inspect quality into the product later.”
The standard is available as a free download at aisc.org/specifications (under Certification Standards at the bottom of the web page). The AISC Certification program expects to incorporate the new standard into its bridge fabricator certification program, replacing the current checklist-based certification program, over the next 24 months. The book has been uploaded in a scanned pdf file by Adam HQ. I do appreciate his work. Because this is the No1 book in concrete. It is more than a handbook for civil engineers.
However, many pages has lost many characters due to dim scans. So that it is very difficult to read.
That is the reason why I appeal to our member's generosity who have the original book to re-scan it more properly. Therefore the book can be used worldwide and forever.
