Dear friens,
For structural drawings in our country we use autocad(2D). The drawings takes 80% of project time.
[/u]If the revision exist because of architectural changing, structural drawings become trouble for us. Which program do you use in your office and dou you have any suggestion?
Best regards.
I am request the book:
An Introduction to Linear and Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis; Prem K. Kythe and Dongming Wei (2003); Birkhauser

Thanks forward
Whether it’s your first venture into 3D technical drawing software or you’re switching to SolidWorks from something else, you’re probably excited about what this CAD program has to offer. Chances are, you figure it’s going to take awhile to get the hang of it before you can begin cranking out those perfectly precise 3D designs. This is a modern and elegant introduction to engineering fluid mechanics enriched with numerous examples, exercises, and applications. It is based on Faith Morrison's vision that flows are both beautiful and complex. A swollen creek tumbles over rocks and through crevasses, swirling and foaming. Taffy can be stretched, reshaped, and twisted in various ways. Both the water and the taffy are fluids and their motions are governed by the laws of nature. The goal of this textbook is to introduce the reader to the analysis of flows using the laws of physics and the language of mathematics. This text delves deeply into the mathematical analysis of flows, because knowledge of the patterns fluids form and why they are formed and the stresses fluids generate and why they are generated is essential to designing and optimizing modern systems and devices. Inventions such as helicopters and lab-on a-chip reactors would never have been designed without the insight brought by mathematical models.

I am not geotechnical engineer. I have a question about any availability of a computerized , fast and efficient method ,machine for possible sinkhole survey of large areas.
I know we have some books in the forum, and also I can search the internet for this , but I was just wondering if anybody have any expert knowledge about this.
I keep seeing this horrific news about , cars falling in sinkholes, half of a house and people in it disappearing, etc
