In a unitary way, this monograph deals with a wide range of subjects related to the mechanics of sea waves. The book highlights recent theoretical results on the dynamics of random wind-generated waves, on long-term wave statistics, and on beach planform evolution. A fresh approach is given to more traditional concepts. For example, new evidence from a recent series of small-scale field experiments is used to introduce some crucial topics like wave forces. Also, the book gives some worked examples for the design of offshore or coastal structures.
An exciting subject dealt with in the book is the quasi-deterministic mechanics of three-dimensional wave groups in sea storms, and the loads exerted by these wave groups on offshore structures.
The text is intended for researchers and graduate students in ocean engineering, but may also be understood by undergraduates. The more complex concepts are explained with examples or more extensive case studies.

I am seeking Geocentrix REWARD users for sheet pile wall design to advise me of the following:-
1) Can each sheet pile wall be modelled with 2 borehole, say Borehole1 at the retain earth side and Borehole 2 at excavation side?
2) I can model sheet pile with water table on both sides without seepage but having problem to use the "Linear Seepage Water Table" to model sheet pile wall with seepage at bottom tip of the wall. The water level at the excavation side is above excavation level and the water table at the retain earth side is much higher than water level at the excavation side.
Hi everyone!
I have a problem to with Etab section classification,
I use
code: BS5950-2000
steel section: Chanel (widthxdeptxthick)(50x100x3mm)
Yeild strength: fy= 290MPa
According to BS5950 table-11
d/t<40*(270/fy)^0.5
d/t = 31.33
40*(270/fy)^0.5 = 38.95
so it is ok
But in Etab if we model the section as above it said section classification 4.

Anyone has the book:
"Network arch bridges: design and analysis; comparison with the traditional bowstring arch bridge"
Athors: Carlos Camacho, Mario Landeros
or any document about Network arch bridges
Please give me, many Thanks in advance :clap::clap:
In most cases it is possible to (help you) find some e-document you're looking for. It is easier to find the book if you provide us with some additional information ragarding you request. Information can be found at websites like
