Progressive Collapse: Comparison of Main Standards, Formulation and Validation of New Computational Procedures

The absence of computational methodology in some standards, and the lack of validation in others, thus justify the need for a research programme focusing on alternate load path analysis. The first step of the research therefore consists in investigating the various assumptions related to alternate load path analyses, as well as in comparing the available procedures, before launching into the development of new ones.

TOC:
- PROGRESSIVE/DISPROPORTIONATE COLLAPSE DEFINITIONS
- PROGRESSIVE COLLAPSE MITIGATION MAIN GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS
- COMPARISON AND STUDY OF DIFFERENT PROGRESSIVE COLLAPSE SIMULATION TECHNIQUES FOR RC STRUCTURES
- 2-D PLASTIC HINGE MODEL FORMULATION, COROTATIONAL BEAM ELEMENT USING KIRCHHOFF THEORY
- PUSHOVER ANALYSIS PROCEDURE FOR STRUCTURAL PROGRESSIVE COLLAPSE BASED ON A KINETIC ENERGY CRITERION
- PUSHOVER ANALYSIS PROCEDURE FOR STRUCTURAL PROGRESSIVE COLLAPSE BASED ON OPTIMIZED LOAD AMPLIFICATION FACTORS
- BEAM ELEMENTS BASED ON FIBER MODELS FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE: PLASTIC HINGE MODEL VALIDATION AND DISCUSSIONS
