The books can't be downloaded completely. You van try to use a program called "Google Book Downloder". I have version 0.6.10 (build 33882). If you can't find it I will upload it. Maybe there is newer version, but its website if off.

You can also use a script for Firefox browser, and do it manually. Here is how:

Actually you can download about 80% of a book with limited preview. Also Google tracks your IP address, so after about 50 pages it doesn't allow viewing pages of the book any more. So you need to change your IP address.
Also the real resolution of the images is about 800 pixels (width) - you can't get more.

If someone have a Google downloaded book and want to share, must explicitly that it's a INCOMPLETE BOOK and have MISSING PAGES, including in the title!

There is a setup file called ccset235.exe in the downloaded package. What is it? Is there any relationship with the Google gownloader? Please give a hint for this.

You can delete it! It's an (good) app to clean wast files. But I believe that they is there only to keep bigger the file.

Google has announced the launch of its new service; Google Books. Currently, you can purchase books (U.S. only) or download more than 3 million free books from anywhere in the world using this service.

the above answers does not solve your problem,
whatever you see in your monitor in windows platform,use the following instructions:
FIRST GO TO:
“C:\Documents and Settings\%your admin name%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\” IF IT DOES NOT APPEARS U SHOULD OPEN HIDDEN VIEW OPTION IN FOLDER OPTION
THEN
IN THIS FOLDER DELETE ALL THINGS
THEN GO TO UR BOOK ADDRESS AND WAIT TO UPLOAD OF ALL OF THE BOOK PAGES
REMEMBER ONLY USE INTERNET EXPLOER WINDOWS ORIGINAL BROWSER
AT THE END COPY ALL OF THE PNG AND JPG FILES FROM TEMPORARY INTERNET FIELS FOLDER AND PAST THEM TO ANOTHER FOLDER IN UR DESKTOP ((ONE BY ONE))
THEN USE ACROBAT 3D OR OTHER PDF MAKER SOFTWARES TO MAKE A BOOK FROM THOSE IMAGES
it is 100% working,but missing pages is still alive problem,if your windows is not windows xp,and you need to access that folder,you can use vm ware workstation software to load multiple windowses in your existing windows,
