I think free Avira is good, AVG is not good ... Kaspersky is good but the scan time is too long
I use free avira since 2008 & until this moment my computer is safe
Hopely my opinion useful
Thanks
Rafael

A month ago I'm trying Panda Cloud Antivirus Free and by the moment I'm very satisfied with it. The main feature is its low resources consumption.

If it would be for free, I would have to go with BitDefender. If I would have to go with a paid version, I would go with Symantec antivirus ( not Norton ) lately known as EndPoint Protection.

I use avast free with real time shield & web shield. It's very fast and low on resources for pc. So my tablet pc with 1gb ram & 1.1ghz processor is not slow.
