Hi black jack thank you for the file It is very useful but i have one difficulty I am new to steel structures so need to know basics I know how to model the structure is there any document or anything which can teach me the essentials of load calculation. for ex u have given temp load and other loads which are new to me.

You can check this link regarding pipe rack design and wind load calculations. Just take note that those are based on Saudi Aramco Standards. There are explanations of the different loadings associated with the design using SABP-M-007.
