Abstract
The tower falling down in Hunan 500kV Fusha lineⅠis modeled by large universal finite element software ANSYS,the ultimate load-carrying capacity of tower is calculated as the variation of the thickness of line ice accretion,and the cause of the tower falling down is analyzed.According to calculation result,two partial strengthen projects are calculated and checked,and countermeasures are suggested.
