Abstract
Since snow disaster to the electric power facility’s huge destruction, the dynamic properties of the electric transmission tower are analyzed with the ANSYS procedure,in order to consider the influences on the dynamic properties of the tower wrapped by a variety of ice thickness.The analytical results indicate the natural frequency of tower will reduce with the increase of wrapped ice thickness,especially when wrapped ice thickness reached 50-60 mm. The decrease range more than 30 percent. The change of dynamic characteristics have a greater influence on for the dynamic response of structures under action of the earthquake and wind.This paper lays a good foundation for the later dynamic properties research under action of earthquakes or wind.
