gabions are also called as revetments..
search some material related to revetements.
IS code is there on revetments..
search maccaferri site.......they are providing design material on their site.....
River and channel revetments: a design manual is a very good book.

It isn't a BOOK about Gabion, but a Program manual about how to design a gabion retaining wall.

Refer to Maccaferri site for further information about gabion. Use Google translator or Google Crome to read in English (It's a Prtuguese/Spanish site)

Well Use CIRIA guidelinse for gravity retaining walls.. at the end one problem is given which will help those who need help on Gabions... the design plates are given so refer it...
