UBC 1997 Vol 3 - Material Testing and Inspection

The Uniform Building Code is the most widely adopted model building code in the world and is a proven document meeting the needs of government units charged with enforcement of building regulation. Published triennially, the UBC provides complete regulations covering all major aspects of building design and construction relating to fire and life safety and structural safety. The requirements reflect the latest technological advances available in the building and fire- and life-safety industry.
The provisions of the Uniform Building Code are now published in three volumes for the 1997 edition to help building inspectors, plans examiners, architects and structural designers locate provisions applicable to their respective fields without the need to search through all provisions.

Volume 3 rounds out the 3-volume set with the remaining U.B.C. material. It helps you develop better building construction and greater safety for the public achieved by uniformity in building. Covers materials, testing, and installation standards.

Volume 2 of this three volume set covers structural engineering design provisions including those formerly in the U.B.C. standards. It specifically contains Chapters 16 - 23, and excerpts from Chapters 24, 25, and 35.
