Quote:The new Precision M6500 is a beast, with core i7, up to 16Gb Ram and a prof. graphics card Ati Fire or Nvidia Quadro. It's expensive, but is a good option if you need a very powerful a robust laptop.Precision M6500???:scared::wacko2: I think he is a civil engineer not a rocket scientist. Even those who buy high end desktop PCs don't go for the i7. i7 is not recommended for regular users. It is a super-efficient processor mainly used for commercial purposes. i5 is the one that is recommended for most high-end home users.
And there are big differences between the M4300 & M6500 both in specs and price. The M6500's prices start out at $2,749 for the basic model. But may be you are right. To me it's needless.I think he just needs an average laptop around the $750 mark. We are yet to receive a reply from him regarding his needs and budget. Right?
