Your thread title is ....already running Windows Vista or Windows 7 and i said "Don't use this solution in Windows 7".
You can create almost any virtual machine (operating system) in virtual PC but for us is very important to use XP (a lot of good applications working in this system). Windows XP Mode for Windows 7 is the best and i tried it.
Windows 7 is a very good operating system, no problem for drivers and works even in old (or week) computers. Many applications run without compatibility problems and if not the XP Mode is the solution. The last version works with every processor (the first didn't support some Intel processors).
