@Murugesh

If you do an internet search, you will find a lot of information.

f you have a specific question, please post.

Most of commercial finite element software are capable of designing a transfer slab.

Sometimes upper columns are discontinued/stopped at certain level. Therefore their loads are needed to be transferred to lower structure, from there to the foundations.

Concrete or steel transfer beam/girder or a thick slab is used to accomplish this.
Regards

Dear Yahackhack,

I have a five story building with ground floor and substructure of concrete and steel structure from first floor to fifth floor (Roof). Ground floor ceiling concrete slab is to act as transfer slab. Steel column loading's from first floor and above loading to be transferred to concrete transfer slab.

Which software are you using or planning to use. Staad or Ram Structural System can design these type of buildings. I am familiar with Ram
What type of foundation system do you have?

@Murugesh
Using Safe for your mat by importing your Base floor from Etabs, would be sufficient.
Please post your model, during the progress
Regards
