Try this instead:

1. Install the software

2. Copy VERSION.DLL to

- \Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing\Current\AdskLicensingAgent\

3. Change "this_host" in LICENSE.DAT to your host name.
Setup & start license server (LMTOOLS.EXE) with LICENSE.DAT as license file

4. Run the software and choose:

- License type: Use a network license
- License server model: Single License Server
- Name of the server: 27080@your_host_name or [email protected]

5. In case software has no GUI:

- Add environment variable ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE and set value 27080@your_host_name

6. Add the following strings to your "\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" file:

127.0.0.1 genuine-software.autodesk.com
127.0.0.1 genuine-software1.autodesk.com
127.0.0.1 genuine-software2.autodesk.com
127.0.0.1 ase.autodesk.com
127.0.0.1 ase-cdn-stg.autodesk.com

Hello Dell_Brett
On my laptop it was possible to eliminate the pop-up with the suggestion in the first part of the message (using LMTOOLS). On the desktop PC the same did not work, possibly due to the message 'FNLS failed to return TPM attributes' which does not appear on the other device. Could this be the explanation and what is the method to overcome it?
