Dear All,

I have a problem with generating area springs in SOFISTIK via SOFIPLUS.
Does anybody know how to make structure that is supported with springs generated according to support coefficient method (MN/m3) or stiffness coefficient method? I need to support plate or foundation. I dont need support of edges or clear spring.

Thanks in advance.

The quickest way is to add bedding coef. at your area elements (sofimsha) or at your structural areas (sofimshb).

Otherwise your could add manually springs at the nodes or via teddy with sbox command.

Another way is to define bedding coef. at your material.
