Hi guys,
Does anyone have any great idea on the shape of non-conventional/non-standard steel section? The section can be either beam or column/strut. Later, I will run some numerical analysis to study the behavior of the member made from this section (eg bending, deflection, torsion & etc). I also need to compare this section with a similar standard section and discuss the advantage or disadvantage of using this new section. It just for my MSc class assignment
FYI, the base material is mild steel with fy=275
Thanks
