What is SSEDTA?

In 1996, European funding was obtained to develop training modules for EC3 & EC4. The project name is SSEDTA (Structural Steelwork Eurocodes - Development of a Trans-National Approach.)

The main aim of this project was to encourage a trans-European interpretation of the Code, by the development and distribution of training material in text and electronic formats.

Who is the training pack for?

This training pack is specifically designed for trainers/lecturers for the delivery of courses on EC3 to practising engineers.

What does the training pack contain?

The material includes:

• a full set of lecture notes in English, fully referenced to EC3
(Including guidance for the presentation of each module)

• a full Powerpoint presentation of each module in English

• Worked examples in English

• Demonstration versions of EC3 tools design programme and COP- The Connection Program
