BEAM DESIGN FORCES FROM STAAD TO EXCEL

Import Beam Design Forces from STAAD to Excel using Macro code. Can be used for any type of beam member. Useful to those who would like to check the software's result using their own spreadsheet. Any suggestions on improving the embedded macro shall be appreciated.

Cheers!

it is important to note also that you need to run the staad analysis first before you can import the design forces, otherwise it will not work.

Completely reworked Excell to import Staad - forces , stresses & utility factor.
It has options
1) Import by Group definitions or by Beam numbers
2) Load case selector

* Only problem with Utility Factor is to get U.F. for perticular load case , you have to give " LOAD LIST " command
by default it will give maximum utility factor

* VB code is open & can be modified.
* Tested on Staad 2005 output
