CivilEA users, please beware that the latest keygen posted for the following software

CSI ETABS 18.0.2
CSI SAP2000 V21.1
CSI Bridge v21.1.0
CSi Detail V18.0

clearly states that:

"NOTE: program has to be ONLINE (has access to the internet) otherwise program will not even start."

As CSI is now actively pursuing unlicensed users of its software, connecting the software online is a highly risky bet, unless you are in a country that does not have much cooperation with intellectual property enforcement agencies/organisms.
As far as I've tested, ETABS & DETAIL run perfectly fine without internet access.
As for collecting remote data, it is illegal, unless with explicit permission from user. Maybe something is mentioned in EULA.
I know the Dassault Systems policy with SolidWorks and they spy the use of cracked versions. With the main program, they install a software that sends the IP, Computer name, time of usage, serial number, etc... And they use this information to contact the "fraudulent" user offering him two posibilities:

a) Buy a full license of the program.

b) A demand for an important amount of money that they calculate based on the time that the user has been using the illegal software.

The express consent of the user is taken for granted when you accept the conditions to install the program, something we rarely read. So be aware on using cracked versions with internet access.
Can you use any software that prevents programs connect to the internet?

Thanks for you comment.  Did you install it offline also, or needed to be online?

Not for software companies, nor for any american company in any case.  I mean, it might be illegal, but as they have the power to do so, they do.  You just don´t know where they got your data, they just sue when they know who and where you are.  (Think about Google).

on my notebook i installed it with active internet connection and on PC in offline because my pc is not connected to any network (Local Lan or internet)
On both of the ETABS working without any problem (seemingly)

That is a huge problem and i don't know how it can be fixed. but as for me, I'm blocking every app (even does obtained legally) from accessing internet.
Hello,
I installed both Etabs 18.0.2 and sap2000 V21.1 without an active internet connection. Although I disabled "native image generation", they are not slow at all. Finally, I performed a nonlinear time history analysis, pushover analysis, and design of a 2D steel frame without any problem. They sound OK.
