I know that out there in the rest of the world engineers with PhD degree are needed. I regret greatly that I haven't had an opportunity to study in some different university which has more financial opportunities and projects on which you can do research.
I'm constantly thinking that I've wasted 5years on TA-ing and teaching myself on some basic stuff. I think that I am a little guilty for that situation, and I'm constantly blaming myself for that.

I'm very grateful to all you who found some time to write something in this thread.
With kind regards

Dear Freequo,

I can totally understand your thoughts, i am also doing a phd in a university and a country under very bad economic circumstances...

Doing a phd is not an easy thing...many times such thoughts come to my mind too...should i quit everything and do something else? should i try harder? why is this job so bad paid? would it be better to try finding something in another country?

When you are under pressure these thought come, but my opinion is you should re-think if you like what you are doing (and i am sure you do).... 400 days are a good amount of time to do a very good job. So cheer up! Work hard and stop making bad thoughts!

p.s. i find this comic pages really funny ;) (hope it might help)
