BS 8102:1990 Code of practice for Protection of structures against water from the ground

This code of practice provides guidance on methods of dealing with and preventing the entry of water from surrounding ground into a building below ground level. The main methods described are the use of applied waterproofing finishes, watertight construction and drained cavity construction. The code does not make any recommendations concerning the use of embedded heating in basements, floors and walls or for the special requirements in connection with the design and construction of cold stores.
NOTE The titles of the publications referred to in this code are listed on the inside back cover.
