When using Report you are requested to check twice if the reason is included in the options. The options are numbered from 1 to 5 in the reported post and have a short description for the user reporting before selecting the reason but the actual plugin is not clear enough for moderators trying to understand the real reason. Please edit your post after sending it and add text explaining the reason with some details or send a PM to moderators explaining the detailed reason.

I have a question regarding a request for new link (when all old ones are dead) for the existing thread (e.g. book which is in section "eBooks"):
- is it appropriate to make a new thread with a request in subsection "Books, Codes, Theses, Journals & Papers Request"

- or I can ask for a new link inside the existing thread in "eBooks"
I would like to obey rules, but I am not sure for this one.

To have a slimmer site just an idea.
It seems to me that request solved with responses posted in another area should be erased, or posts that have no answer but solution for that requests are posted.

I received the following email from 4Shared today and thought it prudent to pass onto the forum since several downloads are found on that site. While it doesn't appear that 4shared is going to disappear completely, it does appear to me that they wish for us to update our files to a new server.
