Problem installing Tekla 16.0 - faros3000 - 03-05-2010
I´m having troubles during installation:
I installed Tekla in the default diretory:
C:\Program Files\Tekla Structures\16.0\nt\bin
but when I try to apply the crack on teklastructures.exe, the following message appears:

your installation file version and medicine version is different. i guess your installation file is newer than your medicine. try to download installation file and medicine together (both links are in same post).

Thanks Alisafei, I was effectively mixing version 64-bits with medicine for 32-bits and now the problem is solved.
One more question for the experienced users of Tekla. Comparing my "about" window:

It looks that I am missing the module for analysis and design. How can I activate it? Any idea/ssugestion?

It has to do with data your had inputed on the Login- in page, when TEKLA starts where you input your desired ENVIRONMENT, ROLE and LICENSE!
In BENNYP's case he chose the following
ROLE: ALL
LICENSE: FULL

hi faros3000...i got same problem with you on applying the patch on tekla v16..how did you solve the problem..im using 32bit version..can u send me the patch you use...tnx

My problem was that I installed Tekla v16 64-bits, and was applying the patch for 32-bits (that´s the reason why the size of the files didn´t match). After that I downloaded the patch for 64-bits and the problem was solved.
If you´re experiencing the same problem, but your using a 32-bits OS, then the reason has to be you are trying to apply the patch for 64-bits. Make sure you are downloading/installing Tekla v16 32-bits as well as downloading/installing the patch for 32-bits.
Both the instalation files and the patch I used were the ones posted here in CivilEA.
