Most of formates can be translated. You can use calibre (Free but not working for epub to PDF) or Epubor Ultimate (will translate this epub to PDF).

Even if the user gave a link to an epub you can save your time and to be ready for other links not in the prefered format.

I convert it with AniceSoft Epub Converter to pdf. It seems not bad. I hope it may be helpful.
