It is arranged in nine chapters, each designated by a date between 1871 and 2001.
This is an academic book for second- and third-year undergraduates in art, architecture, cultural geography, cultural planning, cultural studies, urban sociology and urban studies; and for post-graduates in trans-disciplinary fields of culture, society and environment.
