Hi all,

I need a steel design textbook in SI units based on AISC standard. Can anyone guide if I can find it somewhere. I need that for me classes.

Thanks
It would seem that most structural design in the US is done using US Customary units, that's why most of the books available have examples in these units. Add to that the fact that steel sizes are already based on US Customary units, and it becomes difficult to change to SI Units.

Most books present the equations in unitless form, so that the reader can always use the equations for whichever unit he/she likes.

According to Google Books, the title "Structural Steel Design" by Jack McCormac (2008 edition) uses both SI and US Customary units.

An alternative would be to use another design code which is based on AISC such as Egyptian Standard?
