You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
This book details the structural design of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete for retaining or excluding aqueous liquids. It deals with structures such as water tanks, water towers, small reservoirs, sewage settling tanks, and swimming pools, and covers both US and UK standards. Worked examples are used to illustrate the design process for specific structures, and complete designs of four liquid retaining structures are included.

This edition covers the latest changes in UK and international practice, and the design methods described refer to British Standards 8007, 8110 and 8102 as well as US standards (including ACI codes). Reference is also made to the recent Australian standard AS 3735-1991

Anyone has this book? Kindly share with all of us. Thanks in advance!
