Struds is an indian structural engineering analysis and design software developed and marketed in by softech Pvt ltd in Pune, India. The software uses IS indian codes and also has support for british standard codes.
CSC's acquisition of this software firm will allow itself to project in indian markets firmly.Infra growth in india is picking up and thus there will be good business opportunity for CSC. It can further develop and modify its existing orion soft parallel to STRUDS.
