I want to inform you, engineering and draftsman prices in IRAN, all prices are net salary (after taxes and insurance), these prices are in big cities in Iran, for small and far cities you can multiply these prices by 1.3 up to 3 or more.

for engineers work in construction companies © you can multiply above price by 1.5 up to 2.

usual income for a good structure engineer in Iran, with 10~15 years experience is about 15000~20000 USD per year, this is including fixed salary, benefit, .... after taxes and insurance.

this is not true to ompare salary between 2 different country because USD have not same in all countries.

for example in Iran, you shall rent an apartment (without furniture), ~60 m2, between 5000~15000 USD per year, averagely 7000 USD per year.
