RAM Base Plate V1.5

RAM BasePlate is a powerful and versatile program for the design of base plates and their anchors when subject to axial, uniaxial moment and/or shear loads. Using either the AISC Allowable Stress Design-9th
edition, or the Load and Resistance Factored Design Provisions-2nd
edition, RAM BasePlate can optimize a base plate or anchor size and evaluate an existing base plate. The program provides rapid evaluation and comparison between various base plates under various load conditions. RAM BasePlate is designed to operate in the 32 bit operating system environment and will only run on the Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or higher.

As a professional, the Engineer is ultimately responsible for the design of the structure.
RAM BasePlate is a tool to aid in that endeavor; it cannot replace sound engineering judgment.

Features:
• Optimize or evaluate steel base plates subjected to moment, shear and/or axial load.
• ASD or LRFD design of base plate.
• Supported member can consist of wide flange, tube or pipe.
• Stiffened or unstiffened base plates.
• Optimize or evaluate anchors according to AISC provisions or anchor capacity tables.
• Shear-tension interaction considered on anchor design.
• Advanced analysis options.
• Design shear lugs.
• English, SI or Metric units.
• Automatic Load Combination Generation
• Graphical User Interface
• Online Help

RAM SBeam V3.0

RAM SBeam is a powerful and versatile program for the design of steel beams. Using one of several design codes, RAM SBeam can select the optimum beam size or check the adequacy of existing construction. The program provides rapid evaluation and comparison between various beams under various load conditions. RAM SBeam has a user interface unparalleled for simplicity and ease of use, while providing a very powerful design capability. This results in substantial time savings for the Engineer and a
more economical design for the client.

The User should become thoroughly familiar with the documentation and gain a thorough understanding of the program. This will allow the User to analyze members more rapidly and correctly.

As a professional, the Engineer is ultimately responsible for the design of the structure.
RAM SBeam is a tool to aid in that endeavor; it cannot replace sound engineering judgment.

Features:
• Composite Beam Design and Investigation
• Non-composite Beam Design and Investigation
• Cantilevers
• Braced or Unbraced Compression Flange
• ASD, LRFD, Canadian, British or Eurocode design
• English, SI, and Metric Units
• Rolled and Built-up Shapes
• Foreign and Domestic Steel Tables
• Web Opening Design
• Beam Self-weight Automatically Included
• Load Diagrams
• Shear, Moment, and Deflection Diagrams
• User Control of Design Criteria and Parameters
• Ability to Save and Open Data Files
• Windows Graphical User Interface
• On-line Help

Note: Note: As a complement to RAM Advanse, no need to crack. I understand that while RAM International, RAM SBeam upgrades are the property of Bentley. I leave it to the moderator if my post may be within the category of Bentley or elsewhere within the same forum.
