Thanks for sharing the 9th Ed. of AASHTO LRFD BDS. However I am having trouble seeing page 14-57 (pdf page 1838). Only series of dots are visible in Acrobat on that page. Also, Acrobat produces an error message saying "Cannot extract the embedded font 'CIDFont+F1'. Some characters may not display or print correctly." when that particular page is accessed. Does anyone have similar experience with this pdf?

In fact, there´s a bad scanner in this page, but, for me, it remains readable!
Resembles a bold intense type
I have the same problem when using Acrobat DC with this and many other PDF files. Try using other small PDF readers, eg. SumatraPDF, you can read without any problem and much faster.
