RE: Earthquake Video - Dell_Brett - 09-03-2009 I agree with bakoz! It´s unusual movements... particularly the vertical ones! It´s a confident font? Dell RE: Earthquake Video - struceng - 09-03-2009 After the comments, I searched deeply because the beginning of the movie looks like an explosion to me. My friend who gaved this video, named the file as earthquake and I never cared about the explosion. Anyway, it is an underground nuclear test (Cannikin test) at Amchitka Island, Alaska. The original test was to be done at testing grounds near Las Vegas, but they changed their minds and did it in Alaska. They expected it to be around 1 megaton, and it ended up being closer to 5 MT or 400 times more powerful then the Hiroshima bomb. It is an explosion but I can see S, P and Rayleigh waves so it is similar to an eathquake movement. Regards. |
