Modified-TAKEDA: hysteresis rules for RC member - Sumatra - 07-21-2011 Hi guys, I would like to share the direct links related to original publications of the well-known hysteresis rule, so-called Modified-TAKEDA. This hysteresis rule is mostly used to accommodate the Bauschinger's effect of RC member performance due to cyclic load reversals. The following publication could be very useful for those who want to study further or programming the algorithm inside the black-box of Modified-Takeda hysteresis rule. Unfortunately, I could not find the original article of Takeda rule that published in "Journal of the Structural Division, ASCE, Vol. 96, No. ST12, December 1970, pp. 2557-73". Modified-Takeda hysteresis rule by Otani (1974) - a bilinear and degrading stiffness model Code: *************************************** Modified-Takeda hysteresis rule by Saiidi & Sozen (1979) - a trilinear (accommodating crack state) and degrading stiffness model Code: *************************************** Modified-Takeda hysteresis rule by Kabeyasawa et al. (1983) - a trilinear (accommodating crack state) and degrading stiffness model with pinching Code: *************************************** That's all guys. Hope it useful!! Best regards. RE: Modified-TAKEDA: hysteresis rules for RC member - Sumatra - 07-31-2011 now i got the classic article of Takeda hysteresis model published in Journal of the Structural Division, ASCE, Vol. 96, No. ST12, December 1970, pp. 2557-73. This article was taken with still camera by Fem.Ing, hence a full-credit goes to him/her. I attached the link provided by Fem.Ing: Code: *************************************** cheers. |
