RE: Report Any Bug here - lisine - 04-14-2012 When I tried to post reply to a thread I have received following message: Please correct the following errors before continuing: The subject is too long. Please enter a subject shorter than 85 characters (currently 89). Subject that is generated automatically is: RE: Final Report on the Collapse of the Dallas Cowboys Indoor Practice Facility, May 2, 2 That subject title has 89 characters (with spaces). I do not think that a subject can be changed when we make a reply. Or am I wrong? My guess is that this type of error can be expected for every thread with a very long name. Sincerely, Lisine Thread in problem Code: *************************************** RE: Report Any Bug here - Grunf - 04-14-2012 Today I accidentally clicked on "Find All Posts Thanked/Agreed For" in my Profile and here is what I've got: Quote:MyBB SQL Error RE: Report Any Bug here - mybest - 04-14-2012 ^Grunf This one? Code: *************************************** I've reported this issue months ago, but Admin said there is no problem RE: Report Any Bug here - Administrator - 04-14-2012 @Grunf: When I clicked on mentioned link, I see no error. Please check it again, also check some other profile and tell me the result. @lisine: I think this is new limitation or ability in new update, we are working on it and try to solve the problem, thank you for reporting. RE: Report Any Bug here - Grunf - 04-14-2012 @Administrator, I tried on lisine's, yours and mine profile. The result: Quote:MyBB SQL Error I'm using Firefox 11.0. All in all - this option, in my opinion, is not of some great benefit or use, so if it's not working it's not a disaster. As I said, I clicked on this button on accident.
