[SAP2000] how to make Moment-Curvature diagram? - kusumoaji - 06-23-2010 i make a model using SAP2000, analyzed by Time History - Nonlinear case. after that, i want to make Moment vs Curvature diagram of Beam and Column. my question: how to make moment - curvature of beam/column? can i use "Display> Show Plot Function " and take Moment (M33) of frame (beam/column) for Y axis, and take Joint rotation (Displ - RY) as X axis? can we assume rotation of end joint as curvature? Your comment is very appreciated.. kusumoaji RE: [SAP2000] how to make Moment-Curvature diagram? - igor1234 - 06-23-2010 No. For more information how to solve it look at chapter 6 in this book Code: *************************************** RE: [SAP2000] how to make Moment-Curvature diagram? - pchnext21 - 07-25-2010 I research this topic for a master class, in SAP2000 v14 You can use easily the models of Hognestad or Mander to do the diagram Moment-Curvature or even define a new model of stress-strain. I made a short guide in this topic taking the model of Hognestad, but now I added some steps for Mander. Heres the file : Code: *************************************** |
