Dear all,

Could someone shed some light on what are the softwares that cater for AS/NZ design codes.
Spacegass has a good steel design module. Though I have never seen a copy of this program online. Though it is cheap if you are considering buying it and relatively powerful as a general frame analysis tool.

Etabs and SAP2000 in the latest versions have inbuilt NZ and AU seismic codes for deriving response spectrums cases.

Etabs also can design concrete to NZS3101:1995, note this isn't the latest revision of the code though.

PCAcolumn can be adapted to use NZ (and presumably AU) design parameters for the design and checking of RC columns and beams as ACI318 is very similar except for some of the strength reduction factors and other parameters.

I have used limcon and it is an excellent tool, saves lots of time verifying connections and enables easy change of designs.

Also you should checkout Structural Tool Kit, there is a post in the spreadsheets section for it.
Dear urusanku,

As for as i know the only software that gives you almost all the country codes is Autodesk's Robot Structural Analysis Software... Why don't you try that...
SPACEGASS is widely used software that covers most AS design standards (AS 3600, AS 4100, AS 1250). There is also a new module that can handle plate members for FEA
This is a link to an older trail version if you want to check it out
