Hello,
My name is Ross and I am one of the senior members of the profession in Australia with 40+ years experience.
I am a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and the managing director of a small to medium sized consulting engineering firm with structures as our core function.
Personally I have two passionate interests the first being modular building technology as a future direction for the building construction industry internationally and the second the role of Engineering as a profession to solve some of the worlds major issues. The one close to my heart is the provision of shelter (housing) and associated infrastructure to the worlds 2 + billion people that live in substandard cnditions.
